its
highly
sulphuric
water
sources
already
exploited
in
Roman
times,
Montbrun
les
Bains
has
been
a
very
fashionable
station
from
the
sixteenth
century
to
the
revolution.
During the great wave of Hydrotherapy, marquis Suarès d’Aulan
ordered to build in 1865 a thermal establishment that had to be
inaugurated by Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie in 1870. The events
didn’t leave them the time to do it.
Montbrun les Bains inaugurates in 2006 its new thermal establishment.
This building built with respect for an exceptional
natural place allows to
welcome persons for hydrotherapy and amateurs of fitness in a unique and
very comfortable frame.
The
place
is
certified to treat
respiratory
and
rheumatic diseases,
and
proposes
fitness sessions.
